The Shoggoth's Lair is a small area hidden away beneath a certain altar. Going in here gives you the fear status effect, which causes you to randomly move from room to room. Here you'll find a shoggoth, who you can give live babies to for a...reward. There's a rumor he guards some horrible weapon, but you'll have to look to find out what it is!
