Tips and tricks

Hello. Here is a collection of various tips and tricks. Some are obvious, some might be less so!

• Fed up of the increasingly low profits while selling to Salvage Unlimited? Dont forget that a number of other shops will buy the same stuff for a non discounted price. Radio Shack in Slagtown, for example, will buy most electronic components.

• Smoke bombs, buy-able in Ammunation, can be a handy last resort if you find yourself unable to escape a fight. Simply light smoke bomb, wait for the FWWWWSSSH! and run.

• If you have decent endurance and reflex, you'll be able to grapple opponents with grab <opponent>. Opponents who're grabbed cant fight back but you can still hit them with a one handed weapon! This is especially handy if you're fighting someone with a painful weapon like a pistol or rifle. Grabbed opponents can even be pushed into neighboring rooms letting you quickly make your escape.

• You can stack more clothes on yourself even if your base brawn is quite low. Get horny/drunk! The max layer limit is 15.

• The RCDC unit will chop of your penis if you type in some target that is not there for it to process. People with Fuck Machine can type engorge to restore their manhood.

• If you want to keep an eye on when the shops open/close, you can use alarm wrist is </span> to make your wirstpad beep and display red text when the time entered comes around.

• You can target various items in your inventory with numbers. Ie. 1.jacket, 2.jacket, so on.

• To add people to any lock you place down you type -door/safe/etc add <person>. Useful when you want to share a boat for instance. Only works with voxguard models of locks. You can also tell it to corpsync to allow your whole corp access.

• If you need large quantities of alcohol, get a jerrycan and fill it from the alcohol pump at the Airstrip in corpclave. Careful, as chugging a lot of it can and will make you pass out.

• Broken limbs and so forth can also be fixed by a first aid kit or an insta-cast. It is important to note that the first aid kit while capable of many different uses, is much slower than its singular use counterparts like suture or groinex. Doc Octagon in the Slagtown hospital can aid you, if you're incapable at being your own medic.

• Layering your equipment might be a good idea. Clothing generally only has a thickness of 1, while anything with real armour value is probably plenty thicker. The deeper it's buried the better chance it won't take any damage. However, even three-four layers deep it can and will still take damage. Especially from power attacks, falls and the like!

• When parachuting, remember that high altitudes are very cold. You will probably die from exposure while gliding to safety if you pull the cord too soon!

• A float vest will make you float! Good for poor swimmers, even if you dive down you will eventually be forced up to the surface. Also swim fins will boost your swim skill.

• Clothing/armour becomes much heavier in water, be careful when swimming if you have low brawn. You may become overburdened and drown.

• Boats can not be "crashed" into the edges of the map freely as they now take damage! Use Jed's Boatmap for navigation on the seas, as well as the in-game commands.

• Fear can be counter by being drunk. However, this only works if you're drunk before you get feared. Getting drunk after being feared does not remove fear.

• Jack won't sell booze to anyone under 18, unless you're a really cool mutated kid. Imp in Helliday Inn and Heath in Slagtown will, however.

• Radioactive stuff, like spent fuel rods and such, can be made safe by simply placing them in a container of some sort.

• Bleeding will stop quicker if you do not move around a lot. Try sit or recline as well.

• Placing items in a container reduces their weight, the higher quality the bag/pack the more weight reduction as well.

• Hellmoo is very good at recognizing abbreviations. Pow works as well powerattack and so on. You can usually abbreviate anything by the first letters in its name or command. This applies to players too. JoeBillyBob can be abbreviated in commands to joe but not bob for example.

• You can usually queue movements to move pass the aggro mob in the next room.

• When climbing, if you type stop you will reverse direction and climb back up/down. Typing drop will cause you to let go and drop to the ground in the middle of a climb, very useful if combat starts and you're in the middle of climbing. Typing jump will however make you jump off. Doing so is only a good idea if you're landing into water, or at a very low altitude.

• You can quickly answer pages by just typing reply <your message> or just ' <your message.

• Alcohol, weed and other drugs can destress you, of course drug are bad for you in other ways!

• If you give birth to a live baby and take care of it, FC will provide you with a welfare check. Go post-apoc-socialism!

• Typing ditch <player> will make a disconnected player stop following you. Useful for leaving a disconnected friend in the cube hotel or similarly safe place. This doesn't always work - if you can't ditch someone, disconnect and reconnect.

• Your focus score is drastically lowered by being horny. But in turn insanely buffed if you smoke some weed.

• Condoms work! Helps protect you against diseases (somewhat, at least). Fancy condoms might even increase your fuck skill.

• Dreams are a dangerous place! (Ie. You might get attacked by other players, open PVP!)

• You can tag objects, players and NPCs for convenience using tag <faggot> with <gaydickword>, see help tag.

• You gain IP faster if you have lower total or raw in that skill, so be careful when gymming - you can gain more IP in a stat if you're not careful and attentive.

• You can make citizens of FC pregnant by having sex with them, and then you can abort them with a coat hanger - completing two jobs at once.

• If you find yourself "full" and your hunger meter still rather high, it might be dangerous to eat more. You can however vomit to make room for more food. Vomiting can also be used to sober up rather quickly.

• If someone is choking you can help them by using the good old trusted Heimlich maneuver! Simply type heimlich <target>, might take more than one try though. Be careful what you eat guys and gals.

• If you're on fire you can roll to put out the flames, or a friend can pee on [name] to help you out. There's also fire extinguishers to be scavenged at the appropriate places as well.

• Peeing normally requires you a queue of actions. You can instantly pee out everything by peeing while masturbating!

• You can enter the monastery at Kakuri island by asking Shimoji Kikoman about joining if you're to weak/lazy to fight him.
