On the Sewing Machine, you can produce items of clothing and armor, some of which is available only via crafting.
Low level recipes include:

Since the materials are so readily available, these recipes are mainly for XP, or newbie armor. This may be due to simple leather armor being largely redundant, since the materials for Chudskin armor are common and the armor is superior in protective value, whilst needing no higher stats to use.
