Edited Enigma's tacked on comment in "Basic Security Options" to reflect his additions whilst keeping in line with the tone (and correct grammar) of the rest of the article. Note that the discussion page is available for commentary. Furthermore, the context of the section in question is "basic security" for apartments, meaning the barest of safety measures. Bashing doors does take time, and the whole idea is that the longer it takes to get to the loot, the more time you have to show up armed.

I edited parts to reflect the current challenge system, updated apartment details and removed some of the seriously useless security suggestions, like installing roomkits (with wooden doors you can bash in three seconds, what's the point?).
